Would you like to experience a unique international adventure and gain valuable experience working with children and communities?
The European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Łódź, Poland offers young people the opportunity to participate in a long-term volunteering experience (10–12 months) while contributing to educational and community activities.
During the project, volunteers will work with different groups including children, youth, seniors, and the local community, gaining practical experience in education, social work, and community engagement.
Project Location
📍 Łódź, Poland
Łódź is the third-largest city in Poland, located in central Poland near the capital city. It offers a vibrant cultural environment and many opportunities for personal and professional development.
Volunteer Activities
Volunteers will support educational and community activities in several environments.
Kindergarten (children 3–6 years)
Volunteers will assist teachers and staff by:

Teaching English through music, dance, and creative activities

Organizing games and educational workshops
-
Supporting children’s development through play
-
Preparing educational materials
-
Assisting with daily kindergarten activities such as classroom organization and helping children during routines.
Library Activities (youth, seniors, community)
Volunteers may also work in local libraries by:

Supporting reading sessions and workshops
-
Organizing conversation clubs in English or French
-
Leading creative workshops such as art or ceramics
-
Managing books and library materials
-
Creating social media content (photos and videos).
Participants will work with youth aged 11–18, seniors, and local community members.
Forest School Activities (youth 7–15)
Another part of the volunteering includes outdoor and experiential learning activities:

Conducting English lessons and educational games
-
Supporting sports and outdoor activities
-
Assisting with creative workshops and handicraft projects
-
Leading interactive educational activities for children.
Who Can Apply
This project is open to young people who:
✔ Are 18–30 years old
✔ Are available for 10–11 months volunteering
✔ Have at least B1 level English
✔ Are interested in working with children and communities
✔ Are open-minded and ready to live in an international environment
✔ Are flexible and ready for new challenges.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers will work 30–35 hours per week and will:

Support the daily activities of the host organization

Design and lead 1–2 workshops per month

Participate in training sessions to develop educational skills
-
Join professional and personal development workshops.
The coordinating organization offers around 50 workshops throughout the project to support volunteers’ personal and professional development.
What the Program Provides
The project follows the rules of the European Solidarity Corps programme.
Volunteers will receive:

✔ Training and educational support
✔ Opportunity to work with 20 international volunteers.
